  2. When I upgrade from DelphiBasic membership, do I get 10 megabytes additional space, or 10 megabytes total?
Your total attachment space allotment will be increased to 10 megabytes. Attachments that you have posted as a DelphiBasic member will count against that total.

  3. Can I recover attachment space once I use it?
Yes. Go to your My Forums page. In the "My Info" section on the left, and click on the "Find old attachments" link. That will bring up a page with links to all of the messages where you have posted attachments. To regain attachment space, simply click on the links to get to your previous messages with attachments and delete those messages in order to regain attachment space.

  4. What is Delphi SpellCheck?
Delphi SpellCheck is a spell-checking utility that is available to DelphiExtra members in any Delphi Forums forum. It is a Web-based application, so there's nothing to download. Delphi SpellCheck remembers your preferences, so you can add words into your personal dictionary. Please bear in mind that preferences are stored based on the Web browser you are using (through the use of cookies), not based on your Delphi account.

       -top-

  5. How do I use Delphi SpellCheck?
Click the SpellCheck button by the message compose window after writing a message post or email message (using Delphi Mail Web access). Misspelled words are underlined. A suggested correct spelling appears for the first misspelled word appears at the bottom of the window. Click the 'Change to' link to accept the suggested correct spelling and move on to the next word. If the suggested correct spelling is not what you want, select another from the list below the suggested correct spelling, or replace the suggested correct spelling with the desired text and click the 'Change to' button. If the word in question is not misspelled, you may want to add it to your personal dictionary by clicking the 'Add' button.

  6. How do I customize Delphi SpellCheck to follow my personal preferences?
Launch Delphi SpellCheck (see previous answer) and click on the 'Options' link. There, you can set your spell checking options. Please bear in mind that preferences are stored based on the Web browser you are using (through the use of cookies), not based on your Delphi account. (The user dictionary feature described in the lower section of the options page is not supported at this time.)

  7. What is Photobucket?
Photobucket is an image sharing and storage service. Basic accounts are free and allow you to store up to 1 GB of images and videos display them using up to 25 GB of bandwidth each month. Photobucket is a handy way to store images you use on Delphi Forums. Learn more at Photobucket.com.

  8. How is Photobucket integrated with Delphi Forums?
There are two places where Photobucket is integrated with Delphi Forums: On your My Forums page where you maintain your message board signature, and in the controls that forum owners use to maintain forum start pages. To access your message board signature, log in to http://forums.delphiforums.com/my-forums, and click on the My Preferences near the bottom of the left-hand column. Scroll to the bottom of the page to use the Photobucket tool. If you own a forum, go to your controls and click on the Start Page link in the left-hand column under Forum Publishing. Again, the Photobucket tool is at the bottom of the page.

  9. How do I use the Photobucket tool?
It's easy! Just log in to your Photobucket account or create one for free (you can do both right from the Photobucket tool on Delphi Forums). After logging in, click on the image you want to use and click the Add/Insert Media button. The image will be inserted automatically.

  10. Why do I see ads when I go to the Photobucket site?
Your DelphiExtra privileges don't extend to Photobucket, so you'll see ads like anybody else when visiting their site.
