DelphiPlus Passwords

Your DelphiPlus membership entitles you to a Delphi Mail e-mail account and Web Space at people.delphiforums.com. In order for you to use these features, you'll need to know your Email/Controls password. You can find your Email/Controls password by going to your My Forums page and clicking on the Default Controls Password link in the left-hand column.

Your Email/Controls password is actually three passwords: Your FTP (Web Space) password, your email password, and the password to your Hosting Control Panel. If you wish, you may change any of these passwords. Each is controlled independently. However, the Default Controls Password link on the My Forums page will always show the password you were initially assigned.

Here are step-by-step configuration instructions to change your FTP, email, and Hosting Control Panel passwords.

In order to change any of these passwords, you'll need to log in to the Hosting Control Panel:

  1. Go to http://control.delphiforums.com
  2. In the Username field, enter your username (all lower case). If you created a Web Space after 3/24/2006, you'll need to add "_dlph" to your membername to log in.
  3. In the Password field, enter your Email/Controls Password (again, you can find your Email/Controls password by going to your My Forums page and clicking on the Default Controls Password link in the left-hand column.)

    Changing your FTP/Web Space password

    1. Log in to the Hosting Control Panel
    2. Click on File Tools
    3. On the File Tools page, click on FTP Accounts
    4. Click the radio button next to where you see membername%membername in the FTP Accounts table and click on the Edit... button
    5. Write your new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields
    6. Click on the OK button

    Changing your email password

    1. Log in to the Hosting Control Panel
    2. Click on E-mail Center
    3. On the E-mail Center page, click on E-mail Accounts
    4. Click on the radio button next to your email address and click on the Edit... button
    5. Write your new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields
    6. Click on the OK button

    Changing your Hosting Control Panel password

    1. Log in to the Hosting Control Panel
    2. Click on the Account Manager icon at the top of the page
    3. On the Account Manager page, click on Change Password
    4. Write your old password in the Old Password field
    5. Write your new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields
    6. Click on the OK button
